   Awards and Recognition
PDA HONORED WITH COUNCIL OAK AWARD by the Tulsa Parks Department -- its highest recognition of volunteer service to the City of Tulsa through the Parks Department.  The PDA received the Council Oak Award in the non-profit category at the 16th annual presentation ceremony in early May, 2007.

PEARL AWARDED VISION 2025 NEIGHBORHOOD GRANT: The Pearl District has been awarded a grant for neighborhood street signage and gateway markers.  The City will begin fulfilling the grants this fall in the order in which they were awarded.  The Pearl District Association's grant application ranked third of forty-seven awards.

An article about the Elm Creek Basin flood abatement plan was recently published by the Oklahoma City Journal Record.

Transportation in Tula:  The final draft of the 2009-2012 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is now available for review.    The TIP presents a program of improvements to the surface transportation system within the Tulsa Transportation Management Area to be implemented during a four-year period with federal matching funds.  The plan will be reviewed during the Transportation Policy Committee meeting May 29. The meeting will be held at 10 a.m. in the INCOG conference room (201 W 5th Street, fifth floor).
